At SPRØD we aim to produce and facilitate organic baked goods made in a sustainable way based on regional raw materials. We believe that the value of an artisanal and local production should be a benefit accessible for everyone.
To reach 0 waste we produce mostly on demand and we share the kitchen working during production downtime of BEHOV pizzeria.
We are excited to work with customers who empathize and share our values, emphasizing the positive impact of a conscious consumption, collaborative work and collective organization in caring for the environment.
Based on our respect and admiration for the Danish bakery legacy we offer a range of selected products where you will find both, tradition and new mix of textures and flavors influenced with our cultural roots.
I´m Nico, baker and owner of SPRØD. I am from Argentina, settled in Copenhagen with my family.
I got really passionate about sourdough bread after baking daily at home for several years.
I decided to quit my office job to dig more into the bakery world, and I had the opportunity to work inside a bakery in Copenhagen forming myself as a baker from great professional´s first hand. I started developing my own recipes until I decided to give the big step and to start my own bakery, with a big focus on making a sustainable business, with a positive impact on the customer and also the environment.
My aim is to offer a good quality product and to make it easy to reach, that is why I offer delivery.
